Takes a Village to Raise a Child
- Riika in traditional Kikuyu was a group of people circumcised at the same time. They tied up kinship relations such as mũhĩrĩga, mbarĩ and nyũmba (clan, age group). The 14-year olds begin the journey to manhood as “iron sharpens iron“, and continues as a form of mutual social aid throughout their lives
- Those born in 2009, with the first black and greatest president are now freshmen in High School.
- This auspicious group will have a strong permanent bond of friendship, respect, support, inspiration, mental/academic performance, and resilience.
- The figurative (or physical) circumcision into adult hood will consist of inspiring activities selected first by parents, then increasingly by peers.
- Parents will select the name of the group and website.
- Public recognition and awards for academic excellence.
- Parents and peer academic tutoring. Peer parents considered their uncles and aunts.

Think like an Indian, Act like a Kenyan
- Indians have the highest education (70% Bachelor’s) and median income: $100,000 versus whites and Dallas Kenyans at $60,000.
- “The rich get richer” as they strive to work more efficiently. “The poor get poorer” as they strive to work less (including more punch-in hours at lower efficiency and multi-tasking).
- Efficiency/standing on giant shoulders: Networking, STEMS programs (IT, engineering, medicine), tutoring: (peers and parents), College focus, Ivy League college day (or at least SMU).

Mathnasium. - You can learn business, marketing, philosophy, etc. after college. But difficult to learn Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology on your own.
- When Asians de-plane and arrive at the University, their sponsors require as first protocol: meeting their native country community of masters, Ph.d and professors. They get drilled on purpose and plan: which courses, old tests, tutoring, college employment/teaching aid scholarships, summer internships and future employment. Riika 2009 will have a Kenyan welcome community for college.

- Texas A&M Engineering and Collin College (Dallas county Community college)
- New innovation 1-2 years: Students admitted to the Engineering Academy at Collin College are Texas A&M engineering students co-enrolled at Texas A&M University in the College of Engineering and at Collin College. Mathematics, science and core curriculum courses through Collin College taught by Texas A&M faculty.
- Texas needs 51,000 more engineers by 2028.
- Save $9,000/yr in-state and $34,000/yr out-of-state.
After College
- 90% of all millionaires invested in real estate. Indians combine down-payments to commence American dream.
- Married couples have 4x wealth of single and divorced. Indians have stable marriages.
- Diabetes projected at 50% for 2009 African Americans. Indians eat healthy, but could use more cardio/vascular.
- Mental health: emotional, psychological, and social well-being. Riika bonding will greatly augment.
- Children: single-parent children face emotional and behavioral health challenges — like aggression and high-risk behaviors.
